Rebekah Keat, Australia
This person was not only a winner of a short course World title, numerous World Cup wins, she also coached the 2010 Hawaii Ironman World Champion. Meet the super QUEEN of coaching Siri Lindley. Siri and I have known each other for about 13 years – she entered the sport not long after me and quickly became one of the best in her time!
As soon as I first made contact with Siri, after our first conversation, I realized she was the right person for me. She oozed enthusiasm and I could hear the excitement in her voice which excited me and made my decision very easy!
I have just begun my first camp with the Sirius squad right here in Noosa. What better place to hold a IM training camp – it’s absolute heaven. This leads me to another point that resonates with me and also with Siri’s coaching style – BALANCE!
After being in the sport for almost 15 years, training can become stale and often this means missing out on a lot of luxuries. I’m a big believer that professionals like me that have been in the sport for so long, need to be able to include other enjoyments outside of their monotonous training regimes.
